Fuck Windows Live Spaces...I'm pretty pissed about the changes that Microsoft in it's infinite wisdom decided to make. I am currently working on a My Space and will (hopefully) be making a permanent home there.
Imagine my surprise when I logged into my MSN Space last week and it now looks ugly as hell thanks to whatever brain dead team decided that they can design better than I can.
Hey it's my damn space, I liked it the way I had it. Now there are borders around each section, the page doesn't even scroll properly anymore, and hell, my animated weed leaves don't even play properly anymore.
Yes I could probably tweak this page and fix most of it, but why the hell should I? I've had this page, and tweaked it for just over a year now, and in one fell swoop, they fucked it. Who is to say that if I do fix it, they won't mess with them again in the future.
So here is a huge one finger salute to the morons who have been 'working' (read screwing up) on these spaces.
I'm pretty sure that once one of the facist MSN lackey Space police monkies see my pissed of post, they'll likely take my page down..so for now..I'd like to thank all of the people who have visited my MSN Space in the past, if it weren't for you, the reader, I never would have continued. Who knows..if MSN Spaces improve, I may continue to use this page, but who has the time to maintain two spaces at the same time? Hell, I havent even made use of my hosted web space yet.
If you are not happy with the changes made to your own space, then I encourage you to speak out, better yet, move your hosting to another place as I have. The best way to hurt them is in lost revenue that they won't receive from the ad banners. Also, please leave your comments here let us know how you feel about these changes to your own personal place on the net, your own personal space that was invaded and changed against your will.

2006/6/11 Mac Killed My Inner ChildI hope you enjoy my new video. Found it on the web and HAD to post it here. I am so damn sick and tired of Mac users' elitist holier than thou attitude when it comes to computers. Hey all you Mac users, here's a news flash for you, if your OS was so damn good, then I suspect that more than 3 out of 100 people would be using it (not an exact number of course).
One of Macintosh users' biggest claims is that Mac is so much more secure than other operating systems. Well according to the numbers I have read, this just isn't true. Not to mention the fact that why would hackers bother with Macs? I mean if you are a hacker, your goal would be to get into something actually important (which you wont find on a Mac) or to infect the most computers that they can. It hardly seems worth the trouble to infect both Mac computers that are connected to the internet.
So here is a big finger in the air to all of you elitist Mac users out there who constantly run off at the mouth about the 'marvels' of Mac OS. (Not to be confused with the passive Mac user who uses one just because they don't know any better)
If you want to use Mac, then so be it, fill your boots, but guess what...I don't want to hear about it because I just don't give a flying fuck.

2006/5/12 VistaWell I've been doing some beta testing of Windows Vista and thought I'd post a couple screen shots for any curious people that haven't seen it yet. The build is 5365 (5408 coming soon). Still some problems with device drivers (at least for Nvidia video drivers anyway) but Vista looks pretty sweet so far. In the pics, the text looks a little messed up, but it looks fine on screen. 2006/5/2 Back againI apologize for the lack of updates to my MSN space, I havent really had much time for working here lately, although I have some new blog entries/rants in the works ;)
I have been mostly working on refresher courses for web design, Dreamweaver, and Flash.

So far I have some ideas, and have stolen some pretty cool templates (just kidding) I am hoping that most of the site will be done in flash (yes sorry dial up users, but really...isn't it time to give up AOL and get a real connection?)

2006/2/27 Still SSDDS Well there still isn't much new going on. I have finally managed to get some decent, ad free web hosting. If you are looking for some free web space, check out www.frihost.com . They have 250M storage, and a 10G/mth traffic limit which is way above what the other free hosts are offering that I managed to find, and there are no ads either unless I add them. Now the problem is to figure out what the hell to make my other site about. Suggestions are welcome, and I'll be posting links when I actually have some decent content.
I am thinking about adding a basic Windows XP help section. Mostly because I am tired of telling people over and over again the most simple things when it comes to computers (spyware? whats that? *groan*). If you are new to computers and don't know a damn thing about them, then for fucks sake take some responsibility and educate yourself. Would you drive a car without learning how first? And NO NO NO just because you can tell the left mouse button from the right, and can click up a storm on your online bingo site that doesnt mean you know how to use computers. That means you are one of the many in this generation of mouse clickers that we have going on.
In other news, I added a link to listen to Q-104. When I moved away from the city, Q-104 was one of the things I missed the most. Until now, I havent been able to listen to it for a year. Check out the link if you wanna hear a great radio station. Their morning show is really great.
Turns out that Alice Cooper and Helix are coming to the Metro Center (are you as surprised as I was that those two bands are still alive let alone still touring?) Tickets are a whopping $55 each. Cough, yeah right, $55 to see two old has-been bands? Hey I was an Alice Cooper fan years ago, but seeing him spit blood 20 years ago, as opposed to seeing him hobble across the stage now are two very different things. Helix? One hit wonders of the 80's. I am completely amazed that they are still able to play. Although I suppose it can't be difficult to remember all of the songs on one album now can it? Just goes to show, that coke habits will come back to bite you in the ass when you are old and broke (I have no idea if either are really on coke or not or ever have been, it was a joke, if you were offended then get bent)
One last thing...Have any of you (mostly Canadians) seen the commercial on tv for MDG computers? I have never seen a more retarded commercial in my life. They say things like 'it's about showing the world that Canadians can do more than play hockey' huh!? WTF do buying computers and playing hockey have in common? Anyway, it is easily the most stupid tv commercial I have ever seen. Personally, I think it's about showing MDG that we are a little smarter than their idiotic marketing. I wouldnt buy a pc from them after seeing this commercial, not that I would have before...but definately not now
 Anyway, thats enough rant for now...I havent found anything really good to rant about lately, Bush is too easy a target, I've given up on him.
